Full Time - Administrative Assistant

 

New Day Recovery  is looking for hard-working and conscientious Administrative Assistant to perform various administrative tasks with a keen eye for detail.  The administrative assistant works under the supervision of the Office Manager.  The Administrative Assistant primary job function is to coordinate all agency activities of all front office tasks relating to proper utilization, handling and maintenance of the client treatment records.  Performs other duties as assigned. 

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist in back up for office operations including phone appointments, etc.
  • Backup with hours worked and assist with payroll duties
  • Conducts daily & Weekly QA checks to ensure accuracy of Medicaid documentation
  • Assists in auditing discharge charts for accuracy
  • Conducts any daily or weekly reports to agency supervisor or administration
  • Follow all procedures for tele-communication
  • Assists in all phone calls, directing them to the appropriate location, provider, scheduling, office manager, etc.
  • Assists in confirming all calls to clients the day prior to appointments
  • Enforce the No Solicitor in building policy
  • Assists in all cx/ns follow up. Ensure every client has been called and documented in the CareLogic.
  • Other duties, assigned.

 

 

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma
  • 1-2 years working in an office setting
  • Interact in a pleasant and professional manner with other employees, physicians, providers, patients, and patient’s families to promote a team effort through cooperation and respect for fellow employees.
  • Organizational skills, writing, speaking clearly, answering telephone, fine dexterity, handling and gripping.
  • Calculating, interpreting information, analyzing, assessing, evaluating, explaining, teaching, attention to detail, memory, and reasoning.
  • Satisfactory drug screen and background check.
