Your Role as a Recovery Support Specialist (RSS):
As an RSS, you’ll work hands-on with clients, providing non-clinical support and 24-hour supervision to help them stay accountable and engaged in their recovery. You’ll be a source of encouragement, assisting with daily activities, medication observation, transportation, and the implementation of the 12-Step philosophy in real-life situations.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Provide direct supervision and uphold program policies
✅ Support clients in their recovery journey through mentorship and accountability
✅ Monitor and document client behavior and progress
✅ Assist with new client admissions and discharges
✅ Transport clients to medical appointments and 12-Step meetings
✅ Help facilitate clinical curriculum and encourage client participation
✅ Create a safe, structured environment that fosters personal growth
✅ Support clients in their recovery journey through mentorship and accountability

What We’re Looking For:
✔ High school diploma or GED (preferred)
✔ Experience in substance use disorder treatment (1+ year preferred)
✔ Strong communication and organizational skills
✔ Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
✔ Proficiency with technology and documentation systems
✔ A passion for making a difference in people’s lives
